What Seed 002 changes
Seed 002 adds eighteen records: eight from Norway, nine from Sweden and one from Iceland. Denmark still leads the complete catalogue, but the earlier geographic imbalance is materially smaller. No Faroese object was added because the reviewed candidates did not meet the complete primary-source contract.
The added records cover seating, lighting, glass, porcelain and storage. Selection follows documentary coverage and exact model scope, not fame, price or availability.
How to read a record
Every record carries the same core fields: type, designer, manufacturer, original year, country, materials, dimensions, series, model and production status. Specification scope states exactly which edition or configuration the measurements describe.
Field source log
Each Seed 002 value links to a source ID beside the field. Manufacturer specifications establish current dimensions, materials and production status; museums, archives and manufacturer histories establish dates and attribution. Where sources disagree, the disagreement remains visible.
Seed 001 records retain their inherited source granularity. A new build does not falsely mark them as freshly verified.
Images
Reference illustrations are schematic navigation aids, not evidence for proportions, construction, colour or authenticity.
Updates and corrections
Corrections belong in canonical record data. Automated validation checks field coverage, source references, URL policy, image assets and cross-page consistency.
Retail links and independence
Manufacturer links are the primary product sources. Lampemesteren and Nordic Nest buttons are ordinary, untracked retailer searches. eBay buttons are sponsored affiliate searches for used and refurbished listings; Velorika may earn a commission after a qualifying purchase.
Commercial relationships never determine catalogue inclusion, ordering, factual claims or comparison structure. Retail and marketplace links establish neither price, stock, condition, authenticity nor authorised-dealer status. Velorika has no checkout and is not an appraisal or authentication service.
